Founded by Mouna Diaj, a multilingual film and theatre executive with expertise in international sales, set production, festival strategy, coordination, and costume design, Munascoping exists to bridge powerful, border-crossing stories with the audiences, festivals, and markets they deserve.

Rooted in Tangier — a city shaped by centuries of cultural exchange, diplomacy, and artistic migration — Munascoping reflects the spirit of a port where worlds meet. Munascoping was born from a deep belief that stories on stage and screen should reflect the way we live — across languages, cultures, and borders. After years navigating international sales, production, festival coordination, and costume design, founder Mouna Diaj saw a gap: multilingual and multicultural works were underrepresented, and those that did exist often lacked the tailored strategies and global support needed to reach their full potential.

What began as a solo initiative in Tangier is now a growing movement — championing stories that speak in many voices, yet connect us all. With each project we support, Munascoping continues to push the boundaries of how works are created, represented, and experienced across the world.
